A judge and an officer from Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) were suspended after he and two others were arrested for alleged gang-raping a 14-year-old boy in the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, police said on Sunday.

The Rajasthan High Court ordered for the suspension of Special Judge Jitendra Singh Goliya with immediate effect pending a preliminary investigation and an investigation by the department.

The child’s mother alleged in her complaint that the judge handling cases related to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and two other people sexually abused her son by intoxicating him with a narcotic drug in the past month.

Judge Goliya and the other two defendants threatened him with dire consequences if he spoke about his ordeal, she alleged in his lawsuit.

The other accused were Anshul Soni, the judge’s stenographer, and Rahul Katara, another assistant to the judge.

“An FIR was filed against Judge Jitendra Goliya and two others on the allegations of rape and other charges under sections of the POCSO Act. A senior officer has also been appointed for the investigation,” Mathura Gate SHO Ram Nath said.

Relatives of the victim also alleged that Parmeshwar Lal Yadav, an ACB circle officer, along with Soni and Katara threatened to kill the boy, police said.
